At the equipment and services show for the Grand Ouest in Caen on April 14th , the Basse-Normandie region participated in a round-table discussion devoted to “energy and eco-mobility; an arrangement for Europe?”.
Various European projects, of varying size and subject, were presented, such as the wood-burning boiler in a commune, a study on the feasibility of carpooling in Pays de la Baie du Mont Saint Michel, the development of a European network of small rural communes for energy neutrality... Amongst those, the Basse-Normandie region was able to make the local stakeholders aware of the actions taken within the context of the Interreg IV B Start project, notably the development of Integra information platform. All these projects had the development of works on a Europe-wide scale on the theme of lasting development in common.
