CP Kids is going to be the next big thing on the CP website and it is aimed specifically at youngsters from 3 to 12 years old.
The idea is to speak directly to young people and get them using public transport, especially the train, instead of their parents' car.
This micro-site will be highly focused on this target audience, so the page layout will be different from the rest of the CP website, with lots of pictures and a mascot with a connection to rail transport.
This part of the site will have several different areas such as details about the trains and CP, an interactive map with points of interest for youngsters and information about how to get there, games and activities (divided into age groups) and even school contents.
CP – Trains of Portugal has already developed a lot of work on this Project, and expects to have an experimental version of CP Kids on-line on the first semester of next year. The official version will be launched during the second semester of 2011.
